Vorp! was a team based MOBA set in deep space, with shorter matches and an arcadey feel. You commanded a squad of fighters, pushed through the enemy shields and towers, and destroyed their Core Generator while defending your own. It launched as an alpha on Facebook in March 2011 and returned as a Kongregate exclusive in summer 2012, free to play in the browser.
Built in Unity by a small team at END Games Entertainment. I contributed gameplay programming, platform integration, and the leaderboards.
What I worked on
- Did general gameplay programming across the game and backend
- Handled platform integration, the game’s hooks into Facebook and later Kongregate for its two launches
- Built the web-based leaderboards that ranked players on their match results
